Review of changes and additions

Add a broad introduction
submit in a .readme file

All have approved

Break out the axes into 4 documents:
Readme
Universal Parametric (4) xtra, ytra, xopq, yopq
Latin Parametric (4) ytuc, ytlc, ytde, ytas
Optical (3) pwth, pwht, grad

Here are links to these documents:

Dave and I think this is ready to go...
Peter, John and Robb will review again before posting.
