  • Currently refactoring in anticipation of a new API-X release to pave the way for derivative creation. All about idempotency.

After giving the weekly CLAW update and describing in more detail all of the amazing work that's been done in the past week, discussion turned towards some recent outstanding issues:

  • @dannylamb mentioned that this would be an easy one for a newcomer with some PHP skills to tackle.

  • This issue led to a longer discussion about the role of Drupal as a front-end, and how much it is expected to be semantically meaningful. For example, is Fedora/API-X in charge of the linked data and Drupal is just used as a CMS, or are people expecting Drupal to provide the linked data functionality. These are important considerations that warrant further disucssion.
