Ideas for pill and tab navs are shown in the screenshots below--these changes would amount to updating the font size, letter spacing, and font weight of the nav links to match those used in navbar links.

May need to adjust font size and/or remove letter spacing at -xs and -sm breakpoints to help ensure links don't overflow too much.
