Not sure if it's something to do with my set up, but the plugin isn't responding at all to me. Does nothing. :-(

Could it be that I previously had the ZenCoding plugin installed? (I disabled it before installing Emmet.)

Try to open Python Console (Plugins > Python Script > Show Console) and tell me if there are any errors

Same issue for me. I'm not seeing any errors in the Python console. When I try to expand the abbreviation, nothing happens. It was working previously, but just started when I updated Notepad++ to 6.4.5.

Any updates for this? Is this project dead?

It’s not dead, I just don’t have much time right now to investigate this issue

no its still working fine. but in latest version notepad++ add same shortcut as emmet, you first have to disable or edit "Insert Blank Line Above Current" shotrcut Goto setting > shortcut mapper > main menu > Insert Blank Line Above Current and Insert Blank Line Below Current. around number 50 and 51

just sugestion change
Insert Blank Line Above Current > ctrl +alt +up
Insert Blank Line Below Current > ctrl +alt +down
hope thats work
