Version: Linux WindTerm 2.2.0

client --> jumphost --> target(ipv6)

when target ip address is ipv6, an error occurred. ipv4 target ip address is ok.

SOCKS 5 address length is invalid.
SOCKS 5 address length is invalid.
Connection timed out

in terminal, use ssh -J jumphost target can connect.

I will investigate this issue, perhaps it is a SOCKS5 compatibility issue with the IPv6 protocol. Any progress will be updated here, please stay tuned, thank you.

Version 2.3.0 Prerelease 4,
Cannot use proxyjump to connect to my university servers.

I get this error: "SOCKS version 5 protocol error".

Don't know what to do...

Not yet, I get "SOCKS version 5 protocol error" in 2.4.0. (If use IP address to connect, is ok.use hostname will receive this error)

Same issue, changed the host from hostname to IP address got this error solved.

Workaround: set hostname as IP address

In 2.6.0, still showing "SOCKS version 5 protocol error"
