Use case: Postfix server for custom domains which keeps a local copy of all incoming email but also forwards a copy to a Gmail account. Without SRS the forwarded copy fails SPF at Gmail of course. With SRS however, Gmail sometimes still hard rejects mail (DMARC failure). I'd like the bounces from Gmail to come back and stay on my server so I can see them and not be sent back to the true sender of the original email. In this case the sender shouldn't get a bounce notification because I do have a local copy of the email, it was delivered, it's just Gmail being too aggressive.
Is there a way to just set the Return-Path for forwarded emails only to a local bounce-gmail@mydomain.com and not a true SRS value? Or is this doable just with Postfix without postsrsd?
