Let's look into supporting the race detector tool. It would be especially nice if the GUI would raise a flag if there's a race condition. It could be optional (we have an options drop-down panel to facilitate that).

This is really handy feature in ginkgo. Ginkgo also allows you to randomize tests which is handy to make sure you aren't relying on order in your tests.

@vrecan - agreed, running tests in random order is an awesome feature. I had hopes for doing this early on (#4) but never made it happen. Having said that, I would postulate that even randomizing the tests won't guarantee finding all race conditions. They are both meaningful, independent features.

I hate to resurrect an old issue, but does this mean that the race detector will not be supported in the UI or is that still planned?

+1 for supporting race detector in Web UI or in cmd interface (like -cover option).
