Development

Set up a virtual environment:

python3.12 -m venv venv

# For Linux and Mac users
. venv/bin/activate

# For Windows users
. venv/Scripts/activate

Install, or update, dependencies:

python -m pip install -U pip
python -m pip install -r requirements-tests.txt

Run tests:

# All tests
python -m pytest --doctest-modules wikidict tests

# Skip those requiring a working internet connection
python -m pytest --doctest-modules wikidict tests -m "not webtest"

Run linters, and quality checkers, before submitting a pull-request:

./check.sh
