A Class Website

This was a mini-project designed and developed as part of the Semester 4 course for Year 2 of Computer Engineering.
Class Website was specifically a website designed for the students of the second year class (B) of 2022, Computer Branch, and the features are tailored for their specific usage.

Why this project?

• The COVID-19 pandemic hindered effective flow of information.

• There is severe discord between the multiple channels of communication.

• The aim of this project is to provide relevant info to a user at a glance.

• Also provide information on events and tools in the tech community.

• Home Page hero for showcasing festivals or events in the College.

• Announcements about College / Class / Events in Tech Community

• Discord Widget for Voice Chat

• Tweets Wall from Tech community (since deprecated as Twitter API is now paid)

Tech Stack

• HTML 5, CSS 3, ES6 Javascript
• Petite Vue, an alternative distribution of Vue optimized for progressive enhancement.
• Firebase, a platform developed by Google for creating mobile and web applications.
• Bootstrap, a free and open-source CSS framework directed at responsive, mobile-first front-end web development.
• NPM, a package manager for the JavaScript programming language.
• Vite, a build tool that aims to provide a faster and leaner development experience for modern web projects.
