Description:

Facebook Messenger live chat integration loads indefinitely after enabling it; the '3 dots' loading animation appears in the 'Livechat' panel.

Can't disable or reload_pages, even after a server restart.

Disabling Facebook in Administration's Livechat area results in an 'Enable' button in Livechat and the loading stopping, however clicking 'Enable' does nothing, just like clicking 'Disable' and 'reload_pages' did nothing.

Server Setup Information:

  • Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 0.60.0
  • Operating System: Ubuntu Core
  • Deployment Method(snap/docker/tar/etc): Snap
  • Number of Running Instances: 1

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Add API ID and secret for Facebook App, enable Facebook Messenger and save in Administration.
  2. Enable Facebook Messenger in Livechat.
  3. Look on in horror upon the 3 dots of doom. ):

Expected behavior:

To see the glorious new Facebook Messenger integration shown on #8807.

Actual behavior:

3 loading dots of doom.

If you 'Enable' the Facebook integration in Administration's Livechat area then you get an infinitely loading bug, whereas if you enter the key and secret, keep it as disabled and then go to Livechat > Facebook Messenger > Click Enable, you then get the auth popup.
