This project not only detects the number plate of a vehicle, but it also tries to read it and provide the license number of the vehicle as a string output and even exports it as a text document. The program also provides an image of region of interest to the user. The project uses MATLAB 2016a in order to edit and compile the program. The built-in Image Processing Toolbox is used for this purpose.
