In MacOS Systems 1 to 6, and GSOS, you could click on an icon and type to rename it. This would make A2D much more friendly, if you can click on a name, insert a cursors, highlight and replace parts of it, &c.

Add an option to LETK to center the text being edited, and use it for
DeskTop's rename prompt.

No more need for a special case for the left edge.
