For example, ones for tag, user, quotation, and (N)SFW.
This could be accomplished with buttons on the top screen, or buttons in another menu.
(So, when toggled on, it would apply the modifier on search. For example, if you were to toggle the user modifier, you'd type in the tag(s) without having to type user:).

Assuming you are referring to the TP browser: While this sounds useful, the problem is that I don't believe (CC: @astronautlevel2, @LiquidFenrir) that we can take inputs while the system keyboard is active.

This could be solved by adding a menu in between pressing Search... and the keyboard coming up, but this creates a UX problem in that most people (almost all, I reckon) will not want to use these modifiers practically ever, and so adding this menu creates an additional level of menu before being able to input tags.

I'm open to suggestions for how to resolve this, but as it stands I don't think this is something that will improve the experience for most users.

As for the extra menu problem, this could be solved by adding an extra button in the top right of the screen that would take you to an "input options" menu, instead of putting it after clicking Search...
However, I recognize that most wouldn't really want/need to use this, so by no means is this that important

Adding an 'extra options' menu isn't something I immediately considered. I did say I was open to suggestions!

I'll add it to the list.
