Ezmeral Data Fabric for Kubernetes - FUSE v1.2.11 & NFS v1.0.11

  • CSI-289: Update Go version in the CSI repo to 1.22
  • CSI-290: Update CSI spec to 1.9
  • CSI-292: Update CSI driver with DF 7.8 RHEL9 packages with ubi9.4 base images
  • CSI-294: Support TLS verification in CSI (MAPR_CLUSTER_TLSCERT, MAPR_CLUSTER_CLIENTCERT & MAPR_CLUSTER_CLIENTKEY)
  • CSI-295: Use DF internal mirroring to restore snapshots to new volumes
  • CSI-296: Go critical vulnerabilities. Update all sidecar containers to latest compatible versions & use registry.k8s.io instead of discontinued k8s.gcr.io repository

  • Certified on k8s 1.26 to 1.30
  • OpenShift 4.13 to 4.15 certification is in progress. TBD in ~2 weeks

Improvements :

CSI-282 : Refresh CSI driver to package latest DFv7.6.1 binaries
CSI-275 : 'numrpcthreads' is ignored for statically provisioned volumes
CSI-273 : Make wait time after starting DF processes configurable - 'startDelay' (default 5 secs)

Certified on latest k8s v1.28. OpenShift certification will be done in the next release ( ~6 weeks)

  5. Redirect stdout and error to fuse logs
  6. Volume unmount running in loop
