The extension is compatible with Magento CE 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9.
Because it uses DOM manipulation, the extension may not work out of the box with your custom theme.
The configuration offers support for custom themes but some js developer skills may be required to make it work.
Version 2.1 of this extension works now on CE 1.9.1, but if you have the core Mage_ConfigurableSwatches functionality enabled, on the product view page, this extension shamelessly hides the DOM elements generated by the core extension. Please test carefully before using it on 1.9.1.
